Percorsi 2016. Santa Margherita si racconta sabato 22 ottobre

A story as gripping as a novel; a range of products known and appreciated all over the world; a savoir-faire that led to the birth of Pinot Grigio, progenitor of an entire generation of new Italian white wines: this, and much more, is "Percorsi", the original and surprising visit that Santa Margherita has organized for own guests on Saturday 22 October, in the historic headquarters of Fossalta di Portogruaro (VE), starting from 09.00.

Throughout the day, groups of visitors will be able to learn in detail - in a 90-minute tour - the history of Santa Margherita in six distinct "chapters": the "Red House", the building from which everything started and which still today, as then, displays the motto "Sua texit labor fata" on the facade which inspires the company philosophy; the entrance to the cellar and the winemaking area; the “sparkling process” with the story of the global success of Prosecco; the storage area; the fascinating barrel cellar and the secrets of aging in wood, and finally, the Vino & Dintorni wineshop where you can find all the Group's wines.

The route includes 3 refreshment moments with finger food and the tasting of 3 iconic wines: the Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut, the Pinot Grigio Valdadige Doc and the Malbech “Impronta del Fondatore”.

The event is free only for Zignago Group employees who must necessarily book their visit (subject to availability) at the “Vino & Dintorni” shop - Fossalta di Portogruaro - Via Ita Marzotto, 8.
