Prowein 2016

There are just a few days to go before the start of the 50th edition of Vinitaly, but the echo of Prowein – the event in Düsseldorf, Germany, that has become a point of reference for wine trade professionals all around the world – has not yet died away.

This was a three-day Fair with lots of international participants, and Italian wine was very much to the fore.

Santa Margherita was present with its own stand in the area of the Italia del Vino Consortium, which groups together – along with ourselves – some of the other most important Italian producers, whose wines are to be found in all of the world’s principal markets.

At Prowein, we gave a preview of one of Santa Margherita’s novelties for 2016: the new packaging for the Prosecco D.O.C.G. line, the result of a project that we have carried out entirely “in house”, including the design of the bottles, their production, and the new labels
